We had one of the 12 days a year that they see blue sky at the Great Wall.
However, in Hong Kong it was monsoon weather and rained hard each day.

It was crowded and traffic was crazy. There are so many people on such a small island.
They love peacocks and use them in many of their traditional Chinese dress. The rains stopped for 2 minutes so we snapped this photo. 
The Great Wall of China was unbelievable. Those stairs were so steep and they built the wall along the highest points of the mountains to discourage invaders.

You look so stunning in the peacock dress. The scenery is also incredible. Amazing the things people can build to sustain the test of time. We have nothing to compare here in the states. Our oldest buildings are only about 500 years old...they have things centuries old. Wow. Looks great.
